1. Does activity reach your step source?

Open Apple Health or Health Connect and look for today’s steps and distance. If activity is missing there, check the recording app or wearable first. A store purchase cannot replace missing source data.

2. Can Trailbound read the data?

Open Trailbound’s settings and check the Health permissions. On iPhone, you can also manage connected apps through your profile in Apple Health. In Health Connect, use App permissions to review connected apps and allow the required read access. Exact menu labels can vary by system version.

3. Is your watch connected to the source?

Pairing a watch is not enough to establish that data is shared. Sync its companion app, then check whether its activity appears in Apple Health or Health Connect. Only available, compatible data can reach Trailbound. Not every watch and app supports every data type.

4. Are you comparing daily movement with adventure progress?

A new journey starts at zero; earlier activity is not retroactively added to that new journey. Without Pro, a maximum of 3 km is credited to the adventure each day. Reaching that limit is different from missing steps. Our step counter game guide explains the displays.

If values are still missing

Reopen Trailbound after syncing. If that does not help, email hallo@shortaktien.de with your device, operating system, app version and approximate time. Do not send passwords, token-bearing receipts or unnecessary health information. You can also visit support.
